Rooney, Mkhitaryan and Lingard are left out of Mourinho's first Europa League squad as United stars fly out to face Feyenoord

Wayne Rooney is the most high-profile member of the Manchester United squad to be left out of Jose Mourinho's first Europa League selection. Rooney has not been named in the 20-man squad to travel to Holland, as Mourinho takes his side to face Feyenoord. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jesse Lingard - both of whom were taken off at half time during the Manchester derby defeat last weekend - are also both out of the squad, as is England full-back Luke Shaw.
