The city of MAIDUGURI in BORNO STATE witnessed return of top flight action of the NIGERIA
PREMIER LEAGUE on Sunday 10th April 2016,as their darling team EL KANEMI FC hosted,
and defeated SHOOTING STARS of Ibadan,2-0.
EL KANEMI FC were sacked from their home ground in 2014,due to activities of insurgent
group boko haram,which made it impossible to have any programme or activity of any kind
in the entire state.
THIS IS VICTORY FOR MAIDUGURI,
