After eight years as an agent to the rich and famous in football, Matt Seldon decided it wasn't for him.
These days, he is known as The Insurance Man, offering Premier League players protection against career-ending injuries, as well as cover for their Ferraris and mansions.
It's no ordinary job and it tells on our first meeting in London's Hotel Cafe Royal, when Matt receives a phone call from a Manchester United player with a problem for him to fix.

'I can sometimes have 10 different footballers messaging me a day wanting help with their insurance, and agents wanting help too, which is incredible,' Matt tells Sportsmail.
'I may sort out a career-ending policy for a young Premier League player on one day and then the next have an England International call me to help him get the best insurance for his new G-Wagon.'
'I felt the industry was never regulated enough as it was, and now anyone could become a football agent as long as they pay £500 for an initial one-year registration period.'
Matt's phone buzzes regularly during our meetings, with footballers lining up for his expertise. It will continue to do so through the evening but he wouldn't have it any other way.
'When R K Harrison asked me to head up the business development team in a regulated and professional industry, I didn't hesitate to leave my football agency days behind and start a new career,' he says. 'It was a no brainer.'
All in a day's work for The Insurance Man.
