The Maldini hat-trick: Paolo Maldini's son captains AC Milan to become third generation of their family to lead giants
Christian Maldini followed in the footsteps of his father Paolo and grandfather Cesare to become the third generation of the famous family to captain AC Milan. The 19-year-old was handed the armband for the Italian giant's Under 19 side in a friendly against Novara on Saturday. The defender was presented with the opportunity to lead Milan's Primavera side in honour of his grandfather who recently passed away.
