  • Bayern Munich were forced to train in the rain on Tuesday as they prepared for their second leg Champions League clash against Benfica - but they quickly dried off before jetting to Portugal. 
    The weather may have been drab but nothing was going to dampen the spirits of striker Thomas Muller who looked like he was having a great time on board their flight.
    The former Manchester United target was all smiles as he played the joker alongside his team-mates as they got snap happy before posting the results on social media.

    Bayern duo David Alaba and Franck Ribery also escaped the miserable German weather with a selfie as they prepared to take flight on Tuesday afternoon.
    Club captain Philipp Lahm had earlier led his team-mates out onto the turf as the rain lashed down in Munich as their preparations for the crucial clash were taken up a notch. 
    Bundesliga giants Bayern hold a narrow 1-0 lead on aggregate thanks to an early strike from Arturo Vidal in Lisbon and will be confident of progressing to the latter stages. 
    Pep Guardiola's side are in formidable form at the moment having recorded six successive wins (one during extra time) both in the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
