Brazilian legend, Mário Zagallo became the first footballer in history to win the World Cup trophy as a player (1958, 1962) and then as coach (1970). Twenty years later, another giant of the sport, Franz Beckenbauer became the second player in the history of the World Cup to win the title both as a player and coach with the “Nationalmannschaft.” He led Germany to their second title in 1974 as a player, and 16 years later he won the third and last title (to date) for Germany as a coach in the World Cup of 1990.
