CAVANI SINKS CHELSEA

Cavani's choker for Chelsea: £55m Super sub puts PSG in last-16 driving seat as Ibrahimovic helps inflict defeat on Hiddink's men

Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Chelsea: Late Edinson Cavani strike gives Parisians slender
PSG 2-1 CHELSEA : Super subs used to be the fairy tale players in any team. Misfits, renegades, locals boys made good. At Paris St Germain, they weigh in at £55m with reputations to match. Unsurprisingly, it makes a difference. Edinson Cavani came off the bench to win this game from PSG last night, set up by a player his equal in value, former Man United man Angel Di Maria. PSG are the galacticos of Ligue 1 and that proved just too much for Chelsea. In the end, they got what they deserved, the winning goal coming in the 78th minute after an intense spell of pressure. The margins remain small and nobody should write Chelsea off just yet.
