'He's lost it': Suarez should have been sent off for kicking Juanfran, insists BT pundit Ferdinand.
Luis Suarez should have been sent off for kicking out at Juanfran after he 'lost it', says Rio Ferdinand
- Luis Suarez appeared to kick out at Juanfran on Tuesday night
- The incident happened during first half of Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid
- Referee Felix Brych didn't spot the kick during the Champions League tie
- Rio Ferdinand said Suarez had 'lost it' and should have been sent off
- The Uruguayan scored twice to beat Atletico 2-1 after being a goal down
- He was booked in the second half for raising his hand to Filipe Luis' face
Ian Wright suggested that Suarez knew what he was doing and Owen said that he even stopped Juanfran going to ground.
'He knows as well Mike,' he said. 'He knows. He'll swipe out there, then he'll kick him and then instantly he'll go "I'm really sorry".'
'He grabs him to stop him falling down doesn't he?' Owen added.
Suarez was booked in the second half for raising his hand to the face of former Chelsea left-back Filipe Luis.
The Uruguayan has only recently returned to international football after serving his nine-game ban for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
