Juan moment of madness: Rondon on hand for West Brom to punish Mata's red and halt Van Gaal's revival at Manchester United
WEST BROMWICH ALBION 1-0 MANCHESTER UNITED - AT THE HAWTHORNS: Salomon Rondon struck West Bromwich Albion's winner as they ended 10-man Manchester United's four-match winning run and dented their hopes of Champions League qualification. The Venezuelan striker had plenty of time to control a Sebastien Pocognoli cross from the right-wing, turn and rifle a low shot that David de Gea couldn't reach. United's Juan Mata was the man to blame after picking up two booking in quick succession midway through the first-half. The second was a reckless swing of the boot at former United midfielder Darren Fletcher, leaving referee Mike Dean with little choice.
