Did crazed Costa bite Barry? New shame as striker sees red for attack in Cup loss... and he appeared to swear at Everton fans too
Chelsea striker Diego Costa could face serious retrospective punishment after he appeared to bite Everton's Gareth Barry during Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final defeat at Goodison Park. The Spain international was booked in the 11th minute of the game for an initial foul on Barry and the pair clashed again in the second-half. As they went nose to nose, Costa seemed to bite Barry's shoulder. He could also be in trouble for appearing to make a crude hand gesture towards Toffees fans while leaving the pitch at half-time.

Diego Costa was at the centre of another major controversy after TV pictures showed him apparently attempting to bite Gareth Barry with the Chelsea player seemingly drawing back at the last moment.
Costa, who was sent off on 84 minutes, shortly after Chelsea went 2-0 down in their FA Cup quarter final against Everton, was angry with a foul committed by Barry, who had targeted him throughout the afternoon and thrust his head into the Everton midfielder’s face.
He then opened his mouth as if to bite – but appeared to draw back at the last minute and ended up embracing Barry, who was also sent off later in the game for another offence.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT THE INCIDENCE ?
