MAGNIFICENT FAREWELL DISPLAY FOR JOHAN CRUYFF AT NOU CAMP.


Barcelona bid fond farewell to iconic Nou Camp hero Johan Cruyff before El Clasico

  • Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff died of lung cancer aged 68 on March 24
  • Barca's fans paid tribute to Cruyff during their first game since his death
  • Before El Clasico on Saturday, a mosaic of 90,000 cards thanked Cruyff
  • Johan's son, Jordi Cruyff, was present as Real Madrid beat Barca 2-1 



Cruyff will surely be remembered by Barcelona fans for eternity after excelling as a player and manager

Barca and Real's players impeccably observed a minute's silence for Cruyff who died of cancer aged 68

Barca fans waved flags and held up Cruyff's number in tribute to the Dutchman who passed away on March 24

A red and blue Blaugrana shirt with Cruyff's No 14 on the back was also depicted by the Barca crowd

Prior to Barca's El Clasico match with Real Madrid, the Nou Camp faithful paid their respects to the legend

Barcelona fans hold up a mosaic of 90,000 cards with the slogan reading in Catalan: 'Thank you Johan'
